The Blog: 16-1-22

Saturday night fun-juice still jangling between those temples? then let’s unspin, because here’s your Sunday morning read.

My second blog post! Here it is, larger than life but smaller than your screen.

I promised an easy morning read and that’s exactly what you’ll get. I’ll glide over my week so much so that skim-reading will give you almost all the useless information you need.

“It is a very sad thing that nowadays there is so little useless information

Oscar Wilde

Last week’s blog post talked easy about my love of the English language, Friends quotes, and how the boys in blue won a couple of trophies (second time I’ve mentioned it, honest).

This week however, is when productivity came calling.

Ok, so, smug siren alert. For those holding their heads, this will be over soon.

I’m Dry Jan-ing.

Ok, maybe not this dry.

With two weeks dry, what I like to call – ‘The Power’ – has returned. No, not the dart-player Phil Taylor (although, that would be quite the story).

Focus, energy and a general drive to get the job done has burst from the metaphorical seams.

To make the list of activities I smashed out the park this week even more skim-able. I’ll list them. They were:

  • rearranged two rooms! check me. A new study and a middle room made easy with more space
  • published two articles on this site: Content With Mitch. One political and the other a bite-sized foray into our brains
  • donated a bundle of toiletries, via the charity Hygiene Bank (I’m the voluntary co-ordinater for the Leicester hub) to the charity Baby Basics
  • anddddd, cleaned out the under-stairs room (it was Monica back-room levels of clutter) and donated items to the Salvation Army

There we go my hungover friends.

The smug productivity shout-out is now finished.

Ok, easy. I have feelings too.

Content with Mitch

This weeks articles have seen great views; great comments; and a general great response from you.

And for the first week of my blog, it’s made me super appreciative .

So, thank you!

What will you see this week I hear you ask.

More fun, engaging and easy-reading content, that’s what.

Also, whisper it, but a new page (oooooooo, exciting!) will be at your skimming pleasure. What is the genre, what does it contain? Well, keep your eyes on the site and you’ll find out the prize.

Drum roll, or toilet roll?

So watch out virtual world. Blogs, Copy and Content from yours truly are coming straight at you this week.

If you want them straight in your inbox, without so much fuss as a thumb scroll, then click the follow button (it pops up in the bottom-right corner).

Have a great week all!

See you on the other side.

Impressed with the clear out commitment. Especially under the stairs. Smugness well deserved, I’d say!
